How it works

Everything you need to know about buying tickets, voting and hosting events on Festivoz.

Buying tickets

No account needed. It takes about a minute.

    Find your event

    Browse events or search by artist, venue or category.

  2. 2

    Choose a ticket

    Pick a ticket type and enter your name and email. The ticket is issued in your name.

  3. 3

    Pay with Mobile Money

    Enter your MTN number and approve the prompt on your phone with your PIN.

  4. 4

    Show your QR code

    Your ticket appears on screen and arrives by email as a PDF. Staff scan it at the door.

Voting

Back your favourites in awards and competitions.

    Pick a category

    Open an event’s voting page and choose a category to see its nominees.

    Use your free vote

    Sign in with a free account to cast one free vote per category each day.

    Buy extra votes

    Want more? Choose how many votes and pay with Mobile Money. No account needed.

    Follow the results

    Standings update live, unless the organizer keeps them hidden until the end.

For organizers

Sell tickets and run voting from one dashboard.

Questions

Do I need an account to buy a ticket?

No. Just enter your name and email at checkout. You only need an account for free votes.

I paid but didn’t get my ticket. What now?

Check your spam folder first. If it isn’t there, email events@festivoz.com with the payment reference from your MoMo message and we’ll resend it.

The MoMo prompt didn’t appear on my phone.

Make sure the number is an MTN Mobile Money number with enough balance, then try again. If you were charged but nothing happened, contact us with your reference. You won’t be charged twice.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds depend on the organizer’s policy. Contact us and we’ll put you in touch with them.

How many free votes do I get?

One free vote per category per day. Paid votes have no daily limit.

Can someone else use my ticket?

Each QR code works once. Whoever arrives first with it gets in, so don’t share it publicly.
