Terms of Use
Please read these terms carefully before using SL Events. By using our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Welcome to SL Events, a product of ScriptyLabs Inc. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our event ticketing and management platform, including our website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Account Terms
Account Creation
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
Accurate Information
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate.
Account Security
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized account access.
Ticket Purchases
Pricing
All ticket prices are displayed in Rwandan Francs (RWF) unless otherwise stated. Prices include applicable service fees which are clearly displayed before purchase.
Payment Methods
We accept MTN Mobile Money and PayPal. All payments are processed securely through our payment partners.
Confirmation
Upon successful payment, you will receive a confirmation email with your ticket(s) and QR code for event entry.
Refund Policy
Event Cancellation
If an event is cancelled by the organizer, you will receive a full refund within 7-10 business days.
User-Initiated Refunds
Refund requests made 7+ days before the event: 100% refund. 2-7 days before: 50% refund. Less than 48 hours: No refund.
Processing Time
Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days. The time for funds to appear in your account depends on your payment provider.
Event Organizer Terms
Organizer Responsibilities
Organizers are responsible for the accuracy of event information, delivering the promised event experience, and handling attendee inquiries.
Commission Structure
SL Events charges a 5% commission on each ticket sold. Payouts are processed weekly to your registered payment method.
Content Guidelines
Event listings must not contain misleading information, illegal content, or violate any third-party rights.
Prohibited Activities
Fraud Prevention
Any attempt to purchase tickets using fraudulent payment methods, create fake accounts, or manipulate the platform will result in immediate account termination.
Ticket Scalping
Reselling tickets at prices significantly above face value through our platform is prohibited.
Platform Abuse
Using automated systems to access the platform, attempting to bypass security measures, or interfering with platform operations is strictly prohibited.
Limitation of Liability
Service Availability
We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for any losses due to service interruptions.
Event Issues
SL Events is a platform connecting attendees with organizers. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of events listed on our platform.
Maximum Liability
Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid for tickets in the 12 months preceding any claim.
Dispute Resolution
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Rwanda. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Kigali, Rwanda.
Informal Resolution
Before filing any legal claim, you agree to attempt to resolve disputes informally by contacting our support team.
Class Action Waiver
You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the platform. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
